Where I've been

Hey there! I've received a few emails regarding my absence from radio...I'm on maternity leave! The baby isn't officially due until March 8th, but she threatened to make an early appearance, so I had to take my leave a little earlier than expected. And yes...it's another girl!! My husband and I are very excited! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks!!

Free Music Monday!

Hey! Just a short note to say have a great weekend and don't forget about the tickets we're giving away Monday...Paramore! They're playing a show with Jack's Mannequin at Freedom Hill in Sterling Hts. Mich...it's just north of Detroit...great venue! I'll also have Mud Hens tickets to give away on Monday for the 7pm game at 5/3 Field.

What I Did On My Summer Vacation

My neice came down from Michigan and we took her to stay at Sauder Village in Archbold for a couple of days last week. I've never been there and thought it was pretty cool...the hotel was awesome! My neice however, (she's 6) saw a promotional picture of two girls her age washing windows and thought I was taking her to some kind of Amish work camp! To make matters worse, it seemed that every other exhibit guide at the Village was telling her what kind of hard labor she'd be doing if she had lived in the 1800's...everything from making soap to sewing baby clothes! haha!! She lightened up a little bit on the train ride, though and the farm animals went over well. Good times in Northwest Ohio.
